Alain Norro

Alain Norro is a senior research scientist at the Royal Belgian Institute for Natural Sciences (Operational Directorate Nature) since 1998. He obtained in 1983 a bachelor degree in experimental physics from Brussels University (Belgium), a master degree in Oceanology in 1988 from Liege University and a PhD degree in Sciences in 1995 from Liege University (Belgium). He also owns a Scuba and CCR diving instructor trainer certifications with CMAS and IANTD.

From more than a decade Alain is undertaking scientific research in underwater acoustics throughout national and international projects and he is also in charge of the scientific diving sector in Belgium and at European level
